RUCKER LYPSA

The ATON Group will consolidate beginning of 2014 its two internationally renowned automobile engineering companies EDAG GmbH & Co. KGaA and Rücker GmbH under the auspices of ATON Engineering AG, their sole shareholder. In the process, ATON Engineering AG will become EDAG Engineering AG.

The EDAG Group is today represented at some 30, and Rücker GmbH at some 40 locations around the world. The global workforce of the new EDAG Engineering Group will in the future be a good 7,000 strong.

This will move the independent EDAG Engineering Group up into second place among the major engineering service providers in Germany. More than anything, customers are to benefit from the bundling of the resources and competencies. This move will enable us to cover fields of competence more effectively and in particular to work together with customers on major projects (e.g. module or complete vehicle development).

COMPANY

Rücker Ibérica (founded in 1988) and Lypsa (founded in 1984) joined together in 2004 to form Rücker Lypsa Ltd. The company headquarters are located in Cornellá de Llobregat (Barcelona) and the workshop is located in Martorell (Barcelona).

Rücker Lypsa is the center of competence for styling, design and models of the whole group and is also leader in the Spanish market in design, engineering in powertrain, body and trim development as well as electric / electronic development.

Rücker Lypsa is currently employing more than 400 people.
