Our story began in the 1960s, when the foundations of the automotive industry were laid in Turkey. As a result of the work of a passionate team, we brought a global experience to Turkey in 1967 with the title of Otomarsan, with the 36% partnership of Daimler-Benz AG. With our Istanbul Bus and Aksaray Truck Factories, we have turned this experience into a success story exported from Turkey to the world. As one of Turkey’s largest foreign capital investments with an investment volume of approximately 1.2 billion Euros, our passionate story continues with our more than 6,000 employees. As Mercedes-Benz Türk, we produce intercity and municipal type buses at the Istanbul Hoşdere Factory, and light, medium and heavy class trucks and tow trucks at the Aksaray Factory. We form important parts of Daimler AG’s development and production network with our Aksaray and Hoşdere R&D Centers, where we export engineering to the whole world.
